🇮🇹 New AIDA World Record in Free Immersion for Italian freediver Alessia Zecchini in Curacao

This Wednesday, October 16, during the International Freediving Competition OceanQuest Curaçao 2019, the Italian freediver Alessia Zecchini set a new world record for the International Association for the Development of Apnea (AIDA) in the modality of free immersion, when making a mark of – 98 meters in 4 minutes.
The previous world record was held by the Japanese Sayuri Kinoshita (Japan) who had made -97 meters in July 2018 and who died unfortunately in June this year
Zecchini dedicated his immersion to the Japanese freediver in his social networks and thanked those who made this new world record possible.
