Slovenian freediver Alenka ArtnikA has set a new world record for freediving constant weight with monofin endorsed by the International Association for the Development of Apnea (AIDA) by descending -114 meters last Saturday, November 7, during the first day of the competition AIDA Blue Week de Freediving World, held from November 7 to 9, 2020 in the waters of Sharm El Sheik, Egypt. The duration of the immersion was 3 minutes 35 seconds.
This impressive record surpasses 7 meters the previous world record, held by the Italian Alessia Zecchini with -107 meters in force since July 2018.
